WEEKEND HIKES

Laguna Coast Wilderness Park offers hiking, mountain biking and

equestrian riding on designated trails at the Willow Canyon Staging

Area, 20101 Laguna Canyon Rd., and hiking on designated trails at the

Dilley Preserve on Laguna Canyon Road every Saturday and Sunday.

BELLY DANCERS

A group of Laguna Beach's local belly dancers will join hundreds

of guest artists at the Sawdust Festival from 6 to 7:30 p.m. J.J. and

Habibis, Laguna Beach belly dancers, will perform every Sunday during

BIBLE STUDY

The semester for Word Study Laguna Beach, a community

nondenominational, non-exclusive Bible study, will begin at noon at

the Calvary Evangelical Free Church. Word Study Laguna Beach is an

independent ministry of Word Study International and meets weekly

from noon to 1 p.m. in the church at 468 Legion St. All are welcome

to participate in the short lesson, small groups, praying and

ART EXHIBITION

The Marion Meyer Contemporary Art Gallery will host a survivor art

exhibition and artist reception designed to celebrate the feeling of

empowerment, expression and healing power that creativity can bring

and showcasing work from women who are using art as a healing medium

of dealing with cancer. The gallery, at 354 N. Coast Highway, will be

open from 7 to 9 p.m. for the reception and the exhibition will be

open to the public through July 24. Wine and hors d' oeuvres will be
