Andrew Chapel contributed 18 kills, five digs and three service
aces.
It was the third win in six days for Laguna, which previous had
defeated Tesoro and Calvary Chapel.
In a 25-23, 25-21, 27-25 win at Tesoro, Talan Torriero and Andrew
Chapel each had 10 kills.
Torriero also had nine digs -- six coming in game No. 3 -- two
solo blocks and three block assists.
Andrew Chapel recorded five of his 10 kills in the second game and
added eight digs, overall.
Morris finished with nine digs and Clark Olson had 32 set assists
and six digs.
Laguna also toppled host Calvary Chapel, 25-10, 25-10. 25-20.
Morris led the way with 10 kills and 12 digs, Trey Chapel had six
kills and Olson had 25 set assists.
Laguna, which played at Corona del Mar on Thursday , hosts its
alumni game today.
In softball, Laguna suffered a 6-0 home loss to Calvary Chapel.
In boys' tennis, Tesoro pinned a 12-6 defeat on the Breakers.
Laguna's top two doubles teams of Dieter Schmitz and Kyle Paxson
and Seth Bernard and Riley McMahon, won two of three.
In swimming, Laguna's boys fell to Villa Park, 117-43, and the
girls lost to Villa Park, 119-46.
