The third annual Laguna Beach Junior Chess Tournament will be a

chance for children in kindergarten through the eighth grade to

is a comedy set in an advertising agency specializing in high-end

"THE BATTLE OF ALGIERS"

Regency Theatres will present a screening of the 1965 film "The

Battle of Algiers," a gritty depiction of the war between Algerian

fighters seeking independence and French colonial forces. The film

will be shown at 11 a.m. The theater is at 162 South Coast Highway.

Ticket prices will be $8 for adults, $7 for students and $5.50 for
