"We're very proud of our team accomplishments this year," Laguna boys' coach Dave Brobeck said. "Winning a league title has always been the defining goal with this program. Laguna has not accomplished this since the late '70s. This, to me, is the final word to a season. We had our share of injuries and bad luck, but ultimately we were defined by the guys who competed in extra events to get points for the team."
"The girls' track team did an excellent job again this season," Coach Earl Towner said. "The program continues to improve each year and in the very near future it will be capable of winning league championships of its own."
