The Laguna Beach Arts Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. tonight, Monday, Sept. 17, in council chambers at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave. to discuss Music in the Park and other issues.
Agenda items include the discussion and approval of a temporary sculpture from Community Art Project by artist Micha von Doring, to be located at Wells Fargo Bank on Ocean Avenue for a period of 24 months, and the discussion and approval of competitions for artist-designed benches in front of the three summer festivals on Laguna Canyon Road and a gate in Bluebird Park.
Also on the docket are update reports on the commission’s planned Juried Fine Art Exhibit and this summer’s Music in the Park series.
