Coast Highway: A 1-year-old’s finger was reported semi-severed after being slammed in a door at 5:40 p.m. near Nyes Place.
Coast Highway: Tire slashings were reported at 4:11 p.m. in the 1200 block.
Coast Highway: A man illegally using a leaf blower was reported at 8:23 a.m. in the 2000 block.
Forest Avenue: Grand theft was reported at 12:05 p.m. in the 500 block.
Moss Street: A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:13 a.m. near South Coast Highway.
Tyrol Drive: A hit-and-run was reported at 8:58 a.m. in the 3200 block.

Broadway: A transient with warrants was arrested at 9:39 p.m. after setting up camp in the 200 block.
Laguna Canyon Road: Graffiti vandalism was reported on the 73 Toll Road overhang at 4:33 p.m.
Forest Avenue: A city trash bin caught fire and was put out by firefighters at 2:58 p.m. in the 400 block.
El Paseo: An 80-year-old woman pedestrian was taken to the hospital with a head injury after being struck by a vehicle at 10:24 a.m. at Laguna Avenue.
South Coast Highway: One man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after five men were reported fighting at 1:54 a.m. outside a restaurant in the 200 block.
SATURDAY
Bluebird Canyon Drive: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested after her vehicle allegedly hit a parked car at 1:08 a.m. in the 700 block.
Center Street: A North Carolina resident was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 1:58 a.m. after a traffic stop at South Coast Highway.
North Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of drug possession after someone reported that she tried to run him down and chased him in the 31700 block.
Forest Avenue: Graffiti was reported on the alley walls at 8:57 a.m. near an art gallery in the 200 block.
