Six local athletes came away with first-place finishes Sunday at Laguna Surf and Sport’s Spring Fever Surfabout.
The one-day surf contest, under the guidance of contest director Jason Watson — who finished in third-place in the Pro Division — was held at Thalia Reef.
The six winners were Jon Rose (Pro), Eric Nelson (35-and-Up Legends); Bobby Cherry (Men’s 19-34), Porter Hogan (Junior Men’s 15-18), Hunter Smith (14-and-Under) and Taylor Pitz (Girls).
