Creatively Fun Family Day
The Sawdust Art Festival will celebrate the 25th annual Imagination Celebration and second Creatively Fun Family Day in collaboration with Arts Orange County from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on the festival grounds, 935 Laguna Canyon Road.
The event will feature a variety of hands-on fine art and craft projects, demonstrations, information displays and entertainment, presented by various community and Sawdust artists, and local nonprofit groups.
New to this year’s event is live entertainment, which includes alternative country rock band, City Country City, 16-member band ensemble, Swing Set Too and special musical guests the Sharp Brothers.
Admission is free for children 4 and younger; $2 for children ages 5 to 13; $4 for adults; $10 for a family pack of four tickets. TLC celebrates fifth year with club
The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach TLC Branch will host its annual Happy Birthday party and pancake breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. April 24 at Bluebird Park.
The public is invited to meet the staff, member families and enjoy a breakfast by the Emerald Bay Fire Department. Children will have the opportunity to enjoy crafts, games and the bounce house, before they open presents donated by the community.
The Orange County Department of Education will host an “Inside the Outdoors Amazing Animals” exhibit.
