The event will begin with an opening ceremony at the Rose Garden in front of the Laguna Presbyterian Church, 415 Forest Ave. Following the opening ceremony, musicians and singers will perform at a number of locations throughout downtown. The musical day will conclude with a sing-along closing ceremony at Laguna Beach Main Beach at 3:30 p.m.

Ocean Avenue businesses host receptions
Endangered Planet Foundation will hold a Summer Solstice potluck open house, wine tasting and art show from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 384 Forest Ave, Suite 13.
The event will sea life microphotography by Beverly Factor, and work by eco-portraitist Kait Matthews.The exhibit runs through September 15.
At the same time, Anders Lasater, AIA, Architects will hold an open house at 384 Forest Ave., Suite 12. A selection of wines from CrossLynn Estate and a collection of art, curated by Peter Blake of Peter Blake Gallery, will be presented. Also on that evening, Peter Blake Gallery will be opening new works by Jeff Peters at 435 Ocean Ave., next to the Lumberyard. Also participating in the “Ocean Avenue Open House” is Danielle Clemens of Studio DC Salon, 380 Ocean Ave.

Laguna artist at Newport show
Laguna Beach artist and Sawdust exhibitor Jenn Prewitt has been invited to participate in Newport Beach's Art In the Park, where she will display her photography from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Mariners Park, 1300 Irvine Ave.
