A new Laguna event will provide older women with a place where they can bond over the joy of being feminine and embrace the beauty of aging.
The Festival of Goddesses, hosted by Laguna resident and Hollywood "goddess" photographer Yamini Redewill, will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bridge Hall of the Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann's St.
"Some of us have lost our femininity with our roles in life," Redewill said. "My purpose through this event is to help women balance the feminine with the masculine and bring out their nurturing, caring, loving and intuitive sides more."
The festival will serve up a day of musical performances, a celebrity panel of authors who will discuss women's issues, a fashion show supported by local boutiques including Vieux Carre and Sutton Place, as well as Hollywood's French-inspired Chez Bop, complimentary "light" makeovers, a silent auction and treats and drinks presented by "gorgeous male servers."
