TODAY: Transition Consciousness presents Mukti, shown, an ensemble of accomplished musicians who blend tabla rhythms, flamenco guitar, harmonium, piano, and R&B-flavored vocals, at 7:30 p.m. at Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Anns Drive. SATURDAY: Transition Laguna is hosting a Trash to Treasure Party from 10 a.m. to noon at the Straw-Bale House, 140 Canyon Acre Drive. Participants will build a trail and a wall and learn about composting. There will be refreshments. Parking is limited. This event is sponsored by La Sirena Grill.

SUNDAY: Rosalind Russell, "Goat Lady of Laguna Beach," will present her work on women in Nepal at 9 and 11 a.m. at the Center for Spiritual Living Capistrano Valley, 32261 Camino Capistrano No. D105, San Juan Capistrano. Russell gives groups of 25, mixed caste women 50 pregnant and one breeder goat, with micro-financing to increase their ability to support their families in rural villages where women do not and cannot earn an income.
