FRIDAY: The romantic musical "Daddy Long Legs," shown, continues its world premiere run at Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road. Performances Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.; Thursday matinees at 2 p.m. Dec. 2, 16 and 23. Emergency Meeting

The Laguna Beach City Council will hold an emergency meeting at

9 a.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave. to discuss declaration of a state of emergency due to the recent storms.

Walk the Labyrinth

A Christmas Eve Labyrinth will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m., before the 7 p.m. Christmas Eve Service, which features singers Nick I, Jason Feddy, and Mary Scifres, Pam Wicks on piano and poet John Gardiner at Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann's Drive. Dilley Loop Hike

Get close to nature on this leisurely hike from 9 a.m. to noon on steep and uneven terrain as you spot plants and animals or maybe just their tracks and signs along the way. For ages 12 and up. Meet at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, James Dilley Preserve (east side of Laguna Canyon Rd/SR-133, just north of 73 Toll Road). Reservations required by calling (949) 923-2235. Parking is $3.
