FRIDAY: Enjoy a free arts-related film at during First Friday's Flicks at the Forum. The documentary "The Radiant Child – Jean-Michel Basquiat will be screened at 7 p.m. at the Forum Theatre on the Festival of Arts grounds. A discussion follows.

SATURDAY: Meet local artists in their studios from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during First Saturdays Artist Open Studios, a self-guided free tour of 24 of Laguna's top artists. For a list of participating artists, visit and log on to Cultural Arts.

Genealogy Lecture


Collyn Youngman's free, eight-week genealogy lecture series begins at the Susi Q from 1 to 2:30 p.m.. The series provides all of the necessary information and instruction to assist with charting a family history. Registration should be made by calling (949) 497-2441. Pageant Casting Call

The Pageant of the Masters is looking for people of all sizes and ages to join the cast of the world's most famous presentation of tableaux vivants ("living
