Go to the desert to find art
On Saturday, the Laguna Art Museum is inviting patrons on a special one-day getaway and fundraiser in the desert during Art Access: The Desert.
Organized by the board of trustees, guests will enjoy a meet and greet at Imago Galleries in Palm Desert, and munch on gourmet food truck fare. In the afternoon, they'll visit the home of sculptor Mary Anne Turley-Emett in Indian Wells.
Attendees will also be invited to board member Robert Hayden's Palm Springs home for a special dinner prepared by chef Jean Paul Lair of Vallauris in the Coachella Valley. During the dinner, they will be accompanied by California artists Tony DeLap, Roger Herman and John Sonsini.
