Food Gardening

Horticulturist Steve Hampson, "edible gardener extraordinaire" and plant buyer at Roger's Gardens, will speak at the general meeting of the Laguna Beach Garden Club at 10:30 a.m. at the Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann's Drive. He will discuss what, where and when to plant, prune and harvest, along with personal tips and tricks for everything edible in the garden, including soil preparation, using homemade compost, dormant fruit tree spray treatments, and new vegetable varieties. 'The Mighty Uke'
