Laguna had all three of its singles players and doubles teams in Thursday's Orange Coast League tournament final, which was played at the Laguna courts.

Thursday's singles semifinals pitted Laguna teammates Benito Romeo and Teague Hamilton against one another. The winner of that match advanced to take on the winner of the match between Laguna's Jake Michaels and Costa Mesa's Alex Adams.

One of the two doubles semifinals has Laguna's No. 2 team of Austin Loomis/Owen Weber going up against its No. 3 team of Taylor Davidson/Nick Le. The other semifinal has the Breakers' top team of Hutton McKenna/Morgan Lebby taking on Costa Mesa's No. 1 team of Benny Quinonez/Tam Le.

Results from Thursday's league finals weren't available at press time.

Laguna athletes advanced from Tuesday's Orange Coast League prelims to Thursday's league finals at Costa Mesa High.

"We looked very strong in prelims and had many considerable time drops that shocked some of the swimmers," Laguna Coach Kari Johnson said. "I look forward to them swimming even faster on Thursday.

"Our goal is to be league champions for the third (boys) and fourth (girls) year in a row."
