SATURDAY: Brad Lancaster, author of "Rainwater Harvesting," will give a free presentation on how to collect water from 10 a.m. to noon at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave., and a hands-on workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. at Anneliese School's Willowbrook Campus, 20062 Laguna Canyon Road. Tickets are $35 for pre-registration and $45 at the event.

AARP Driver Safety Course

Learn safe driving strategies and defensive driving techniques from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St. Course participants may be eligible to receive a discount on their auto insurance premiums. Funds for Orphans

First- through fourth-graders from Community Learning Center will wash cars and sell baked goods from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the school district parking lot, 550 Blumont St. The event benefits an orphanage in La Misíon, Mexico. Women's Health Day
