FRIDAY: Celebrate the reopening of Heisler Park with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. by Mayor Toni Iseman near the "Breaching Whale" sculpture by the Rockpile Beach restroom. This marks the completion of the final phase of park renovation.
SATURDAY: : Enjoy an afternoon of music and eclectic performance during "Fête de la Musique," presented by the Laguna Beach Sister Cities Assn. at 2 p.m., with an opening ceremony at Main Beach cobblestones. Musicians and singers will perform at several locations downtown. The festivities end with a sing-along at 4:30 p.m. at Main Beach. Admission is free.
