FRIDAY: Celebrate the reopening of Heisler Park with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. by Mayor Toni Iseman near the "Breaching Whale" sculpture by the Rockpile Beach restroom. This marks the completion of the final phase of park renovation.

SATURDAY: : Enjoy an afternoon of music and eclectic performance during "Fête de la Musique," presented by the Laguna Beach Sister Cities Assn. at 2 p.m., with an opening ceremony at Main Beach cobblestones. Musicians and singers will perform at several locations downtown. The festivities end with a sing-along at 4:30 p.m. at Main Beach. Admission is free. For more information, visit

SUNDAY: Kids from Laguna Presbyterian Church will present a musical, "Esther-Ordinary Faith," at the 8:30 and 10 a.m. worship service at the church 415 Forest Ave. The Children's Choir and Middle School Music Madness group will present the story of Israel's Queen Esther and how she overcame impossible odds to save her people.
