SATURDAY: An artist reception for photographer Al Gerk will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at Artist Eye Laguna Gallery, 1294-A S. Coast Hwy. Gerk's photos will be on display at the gallery through August.

SUNDAY: An arts and crafts show and sale will be at Crystal Cove State Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can view and buy work from local artists and authors, with proceeds going to the Crystal Cove Alliance. Admission is free. Parking is available in the Los Trancos lot.

Boutique Benefit Collection Drive

Drop off your unwanted quality clothes and accessories from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 494 El Camino del Mar (across from the high school football stadium.). The donated items will be sold at the annual Boutique Benefit on Sept. 17 at Laguna Presbyterian Church, 415 Forest Ave. The one-day sale will raise money for the Laguna Relief and Resource Center. Moonlight Hike

Join volunteer naturalists from 6:30 to 9 p.m. to watch the full moon rise on this moderate, 3.5-mile hike over steep and uneven terrain through Laurel and Willow canyons and up to Bommer Ridge.
