High school vandalism reported
Laguna Beach High School was vandalized June 15 and the damages are estimated at $1,000, according to police.
A custodian reported at 4:45 a.m. that several locks in the central and east quad area were damaged. The unknown suspect or suspects used a glue-like substance in the locks to disable them, Laguna Beach police Lt. Jason Kravetz said.
Cafeteria windows were tagged with black marker with the phrases "F*** School" and "Sincerely Class of 2012," Kravetz said. Exterior doors were also vandalized with "12, 12, 12, 12, 12." Other doors simply said "Seniors."
