Police: Fireworks thrown into girl's room
A homeowner reported that juveniles had caught their daughter's room on fire July 6.
According to police, unknown suspects threw lit fireworks into the daughter's bedroom window in the 200 block of St. Ann's Drive.
Laguna Beach police Lt. Jason Kravetz said a small fire erupted, burning a bedspread. One other person was staying at the home and put it out. Firefighters were not called at the time of the incident and it was reported the next day.
The parents of the girl believe a group of boys are to blame in the arson crime. The damage is estimated at $1,500, Kravetz said.

Officers were called to the parking lot around 4 p.m. after citizens said they saw the suspect selling marijuana. Prior to their arrival, a tow truck flagged down officers and alerted them to the incident as well. As police pulled into the parking lot, they observed the suspect make a transaction with a man.
