The Festival Runway Show returns from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 18 at the Festival of Arts grounds, 650 Laguna Canyon Road.
The fourth annual show features fashions that come from 80% of recycled, reused or reclaimed materials.
Three judges, including a celebrity, will select the winner and the fashion show attendees will be able to cast their vote for People's Choice Award, according to news a release.
Judges are Los Angeles County Museum of Art's curator of costumes and textiles, Kaye Spilker, and Jeannie Mai, host of Style Channels fashion makeover show "How Do I Look?" Jerry Penacoli of "Extra"will again host the event.
Last year's winning design was a full-length wedding dress made in cellophane that could be removed layer by layer to reveal a miniskirt bodice.
"Festival Runway Fashion is quickly becoming a signature Festival of Arts event," said Susan Davis, director of special events for the Festival of Arts, in a statement. "Every year seems to up the ante, and this year won't disappoint."
