Taim hosting special artist for Art Walk

March 7 marks the monthly Art Walk, and Taim Boutique will be hosting artist Korrie Lukei as well as selling her artwork.

"Growing up an identical triplet made it difficult for Korrie to be her own person and as a result used her artistic talent as a means of developing her own identity. Whether it was by painting, drawing, doodling or helping women to feel beautiful through makeup and hair design, Korrie is often quoted as saying that 'Art is what gives me life!'" a press release states.

Lukei, who now lives in Irvine, grew up in a small town just outside of Seattle and uses the "myriad of colors and textures often seen in the natural landscapes" in her work.

Taim, pronounced like "thyme," is a stylish women's boutique that specializes in helping customers find their own personal style. Check out deals and other happenings at, where you can also eye owner Kendra Pearce's favorite pieces and accessories.

The shop is 1259 S. Coast Hwy.; (949) 715-4200.
