The Orange County District Attorney is seeking the public's help in identifying more possible victims of a Laguna Niguel man who allegedly raped two women, including one from Laguna Beach, according to a news release.
Babak "Bobby" Azadgilani, 26, was arraigned Wednesday at Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach and is being held on $2 million bail, the D.A. said.
Azadgilani is charged with two felony counts of forcible rape, two felony counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object by force, and one felony count each of sodomy by force and forcible oral copulation, according to the release.
If convicted, Azadgilani faces life in state prison, the D.A. said.
Azadgilani reportedly ran into a woman in Laguna Beach April 21, the release said. The woman knows Azadgilani, but the two had not seen each other for several years.
When she left the beach to walk home, Azadgilani followed her home, despite her repeatedly telling him that he was not allowed to enter, the D.A. said.
