The Community Arts Project has issued a call for entries for a one-person juried exhibit at the Banking on Art Gallery, at Wells Fargo, 260 Ocean Ave.
Two-dimensional submissions from Orange County artists will be accepted until June 1. The show will run from Sept. 15 to Dec. 1.
Applications must include 10 JPEG images, a resume and a letter of recommendation. CAP membership costs $35, while an additional entry fee is $20.
Museum curator Susan Anderson and Laguna College of Art + Design's President Jonathan Burke will judge the work.

Laguna Canyon Artists will host an art show from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 3 at 3251 and 3275 Laguna Canyon Road.
Guests will be able to interact with 25 artists — including Linda Ames, Bruce Burr, Patrice Miller, Tom Swimm and Deborah Weinstein — and learn about their creative process. Paintings, photographs, jewelry, mixed media, sculptures and more will be on sale.
Attendees will also be given the chance to preview furniture and furnishings painted by the Laguna Outreach for Community Arts ahead of its Fun & Funky Furnishing Fundraiser on May 4. This event, which supports local art education programs, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at 1370 South Coast Hwy.
