Suzie Harrison First, it was A-list movie star Cameron Corona who took to the red carpet for her latest premiere. then more stars appeared, as super-hot leading man Billy Bob Joe was greeted by screaming fans and flashing lights before his latest blockbuster. Both actors have made it to the big time ... well, it seemed like the big time when two young student actors played the parts during an acting class offered by the new Laguna Beach Actor's Studio.

Museum opens Roger Kuntz show Sunday ?Roger Kuntz: The Shadow Between Representation and Abstraction? will be on exhibit at Laguna Art Museum from Sunday to May 24. Kuntz lived in Laguna Beach from 1964 until his death in 1975 at the age of 49. This exhibition of more than 90 paintings, sculptures and works on paper is the first major show of the artist?s work since his death, and will focus on Kuntz?s search for what he called the ?middle ground? between figurative and non-figurative painting.

A funny thing happened to me on the way to the Patriots Day Parade. Well, at least it started out funny. Dressed for the parade, including my signature red pill box hat, I gaily tripped off to the parade — literally. I caught my heel walking down my front stairs. Realizing I was going to hit face first, I tucked my shoulder in, landed on my left side and rolled onto my back in the strawberry patch below the porch. Didn’t even have the breath knocked out of me. Lying there, I took inventory and decided no bones were broken.
