Floral design class offered at center A floral design class will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Mondays until Aug. 3 at the Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St. Participants will learn to design an arrangement each week to take home from Debby Neville of the Interior Designers Institute. The cost is $100 paid in advance for five classes and a $25 supply fee per class. To sign up, call (949) 497-2441. Old fashioned Sock Hop is July 17 An old-fashioned Sock Hop is planned at the Susi Q Senior Center, with the tunes of Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino and others.

Excellence in musicality combined with high comic acumen is a formula that dates back to, and beyond, Victor Borge. It was left to Ted Dykstra and Richard Greenblatt to refine the system to a cutting edge with their unique entertainment package, "2 Pianos 4 Hands." True, Dykstra and Greenblatt -- the original four hands of the title who started the process a decade ago -- are not on stage at the Laguna Playhouse, where this terrific two-hander has just unfolded. But their personas are, in the form of Richard Carsey playing Greenblatt and Tom Frey as Dkystra.
