Summit Road: Two gun shots were reported in the 31600 block at 12:47 p.m. Monday. Broadway Street: A caller reported that a man with a stick was scaring people in front of a restaurant in the 300 block at 2:28 p.m. Monday. South Coast Highway: A one-piece swimsuit worth $299 was reported stolen in the 400 block at 3:15 p.m. Monday.

A woman was hospitalized after being hit by a car while crossing South Coast Highway around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Laguna Beach police said. Three 911 callers reported a traffic collision at 9:32 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Coast Highway near Center Street, Capt. Jason Kravetz wrote in an email. A 58-year-old female Dana Point resident attempted to legally cross where there is no electronic walk sign, police said. Police said the woman sustained multiple injuries, though none is life-threatening.

A woman was hospitalized after two cars collided on South Coast Highway on Friday morning, Laguna Beach police said. The crash occurred at 8:05 a.m. in the 2400 block when a 24-year-old San Clemente woman, who was driving a Toyota Corolla, made an illegal U-turn from the northbound side of South Coast Highway north of Upland Road, Sgt. Louise Callus wrote in an email. A 62-year-old Laguna Beach man driving a Chevrolet Volt hit the Corolla, sending the car across southbound lanes, police said.

Woman located after missing from beach A woman was located at a hospital days after her fiancee reported she disappeared near Main Beach on Saturday. The woman's name could not be published because police are still investigating the possibility that the she may have been sexually assaulted, Sgt. Darin Lenyi said. The woman's fiancee, 29-year-old Brian Andrews of Covina , told police on Wednesday the woman, a 36-year-old Covina resident, was in a hospital, Lenyi said.
