Laguna Beach police arrested a woman on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle Friday and recognized her from a pursuit late last year, authorities said. Officers spotted Michele Lynn Frazier, 28, of Laguna Beach, at 11:30 a.m. driving a stolen 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser in downtown Laguna, according to police, who then followed the vehicle to a less populated area and conducted a traffic stop on Laguna Canyon Road near the 73 Toll Road. Frazier complied with officers' instructions and was arrested on suspicion of auto theft and driving without a license, as well as for a $26,000 warrant for grand theft in Los Angeles and a warrant for violating probation.

A man was arrested last week for allegedly vandalizing the abandoned home at 1000 Steps Beach, known by locals as Chateau Relaxo, police said. Dalton Edward Vonfeldt, 18, of Indiana, was arrested Sept. 15 on suspicion of vandalism, Laguna Beach Police Sgt. Louise Callus said in an email. Two residents in the area called police to say they witnessed someone painting graffiti on the abandoned property, she said. According to the city's weekly update of Sept. 20, police officers met recently with residents who were concerned about the persistent tagging, which has been an issue at the abandoned home for the past decade.

A former "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" star was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving Saturday. Talan Torriero, 25, known for his role on the reality show from 2004-05, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Brooks Street and South Coast Highway, Sgt. Louise Callus said in an email. Torriero reportedly made a left turn in the 200 block of Brooks Street in violation of posted signs that prohibit left turns and U-turns at that intersection, she said. The vehicle was stopped by police and after speaking with the driver, the officer noticed signs that Torriero could be intoxicated, Callus said.

Laguna Beach police arrested a homeless man on suspicion of assaulting a 71-year-old woman in a wheelchair, according to authorities. Ronald David McGrane, 44, a resident of Laguna Beach's Alternative Sleeping Location, was booked on suspicion of felony assault causing great bodily injury and felony elder abuse, Sgt. Louise Callus wrote in an email. The incident occurred at 6:08 a.m. Sunday inside the P.O. Box area of the post office at 350 Forest Ave., Callus said. The woman called police saying a man attacked her and officers found her bloodied on the ground next to her wheelchair, Callus said.

A Laguna Beach man who co-founded Gotcha surfwear was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and cocaine possession following a traffic accident, police said Wednesday. Michael Elliot Tomson, 58, was charged with two felony counts of DUI and possession of a controlled substance as well as a misdemeanor count of being under the influence of drugs, Capt. Jason Kravetz wrote in an email. Tomson posted $100,000 bail and was released. A former professional surfer, Tomson started Gotcha with Joel Cooper in 1978 in Laguna Beach.

A Laguna Beach man suspected of burglarizing Laguna Niguel homes is back in custody. Cameron Bilbrey, 18, was arrested Nov. 8 after additional charges were filed with the Orange County district attorney's office, according to court records. He had posted bail on Nov. 6 after being arrested on suspicion of burglarizing homes in a neighborhood for the second time. Bilbrey's arraignment was continued from Tuesday to Nov. 27. He'll also have a pretrial hearing that day for another case involving burglary charges.
