Area 1 - Fairview Street: A purse with ID and credit cards was reported stolen from a vehicle after the window was smashed in the 200 block at 8:11 p.m. Aug. 5. Heather Place: A license plate was reported stolen in the 300 block at 3:17 p.m. Monday. Jasmine Street: An Anaheim woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at North Coast Highway at 2:15 p.m. Saturday. North Coast Highway: An Irvine man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop in the 1200 block at 1:01 a.m. Saturday.

Two arrested, two cited at beach Two men were arrested on suspicion of possessing Ecstasy, and two teenage were girls cited on curfew violation at 4:16 a.m. Saturday near Crescent Bay beach, Lt. Jason Kravetz said. Officers were in the location on a call when they encountered the group coming up from the beach. The girls, 16 and 17 years old, from Santa Ana, were cited and released to their parents. Jason Mayorga, 20, of Garden Grove, and Luis Cendejas-Rodriguez of Santa Ana, 19, were arrested and held on $20,000 bail, according to police records.

Police arrested an 18-year-old woman on Sept. 26 on suspicion of stealing and signing more than $6,000 in Athena Day Spa credit card checks. Melissa Hesslink, who used to work at Laguna Surf, moved to Big Bear after allegedly stealing a piece of Athena Day Spa mail that contained American Express Card checks. The two businesses shared the same mailroom. Hesslink allegedly signed $6,167 in checks to herself and to her boyfriend, 21-year-old Laguna Hills resident Joshua Brigham.
