Two Southland men were in jail Sunday after they apparently dressed as Time-Warner Cable repairmen to break into a Los Angeles County home. A suspected drunk driver reportedly rolled over and hit a Southern California Edison pole on Laguna Canyon Road early Tuesday morning, police said. Laguna Beach Police received reports of a rollover crash near the Alternate Sleeping Location at 1:58 a.m., said Special Investigations Officer Robert Rahaeuser. When they arrived at the scene, the driver was outside the vehicle. Officers contacted the driver and arrested him on suspicion of DUI. Edison was contacted and came out to repair the pole.

Four people were arrested after using counterfeit money at the Mobil Gas Station on North Coast Highway this week, according to Laguna Beach police. Rosa Mojica, 63, Tania Santoya, 33, Roberto Jose Rodriguez, 33, and a 16-year-old male juvenile were all arrested Thursday for burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of fraudulent items and counterfeiting. All four are from Santa Ana. Mojica and Santoya had felony burglary warrants out for their arrest. Santoya had a warrant for $15,000 bail.
